Atelier W2502 – White stoneware with Grog

Application:

A stoneware body designed for the highest requirements, offering excellent plasticity, modelling, throwing, and standing properties. It also serves as an excellent glaze base.

Application Temperature:

1000°C - 1260°C

Specifications:

• Grog / Graining: Amount 25%, Size 0 – 0.2mm

• Drying Shrinkage: 6.3%

• Firing Shrinkage:

  • 1050°C: 1.5%

  • 1150°C: 3.8%

  • 1250°C: 5.5%

• Water Absorption:

  • 1050°C: 10.0%

  • 1150°C: 7.0%

  • 1250°C: 2.0%
    

• Sintering (Water Absorption ≤4%): Approx. 1200°C

• Thermal Expansion Coefficient (20-400°C):69 × 10⁻⁷/K (Pre-firing: 1200°C)
