Need space to work on your own clay projects without the structure of a formal class? Our premium studio setup is available for independent makers to use our facilities, wheels, and tools at your own pace.
What’s Included:
2 Hour Studio Block: Plenty of time to set up, get into a creative flow, and clean down without feeling rushed.
Full Equipment Access: Includes the use of our pottery wheels, hand-building tables, and standard studio tools.
Storage Space: Access to studio shelving to store your work-in-progress pieces between stages.
The Fine Print & Studio Rules:
Experienced Makers Only: Open Studio sessions are strictly un-tutored. To book, you must be completely self-sufficient and have previously completed a multi-week course or introductory workshop with us or at another studio. You are also welcome to practise if you are currently enrolled with us.
Clay & Firing Extra: To keep our hourly rate accessible, clay and firing costs are not included in the $50 fee. You are welcome to purchase clay directly from the studio, and finished work will be charged at our standard Weigh & Pay firing rate.
Clean Up After Yourself: Part of a shared studio culture means leaving your workstation as clean as you found it. Your 2-hour block includes your clean-up time! Please bring a 10L bucket with you to every session. This is for collecting your own clay slips and dirty throwing water, which must be taken home with you. Under no circumstances should slip or clay-heavy water be poured down the studio sinks. Thank you for helping us protect our plumbing!
