Our private sessions are designed to be relaxed, social and beginner-friendly, so no previous pottery experience is required. Whether you'd like to try the pottery wheel or enjoy a hand-building pottery experience, we'll guide your group through the process step by step.
Private pottery events are a wonderful alternative to a traditional party or group activity. Instead of simply going out for dinner or drinks, you can slow down, get your hands into clay, have a few laughs and create something together.
Depending on your chosen pottery experience, participants can learn introductory wheel-throwing or hand-building techniques and create their own individual ceramic piece. Clay, studio tools and equipment are provided, so there's no need to bring pottery supplies or have any experience before attending.
After your event, your pottery stays with us at Pottery Embassy while it dries naturally. We then take care of the bisque firing, glazing where included, and final kiln firing. Finished pottery generally takes 6–8 weeks, and we'll contact you when your pieces are ready for collection.
