Our evening wheel courses are perfect for beginners and developing potters who want regular time to learn, practise and build confidence with clay.

Busy Week? We’ve Built in Flexibility

We know life gets busy, which is why scheduled practice and catch-up time is included with your course.

If you need to miss a class, you can arrange to attend one of our scheduled practice sessions to catch up, work on techniques or simply get some extra wheel time. Sessions are subject to studio and wheel availability and must be arranged in advance.

Switch off from the day, get your hands muddy and give yourself something creative to look forward to each week.

Prepare the Clay

Throw & Trim

Bisque Firing

Glaze & Final Fire

Wedge and center your clay, removing air pockets and preparing it for the wheel.

Shape your form on the wheel, then refine and finish once leather-hard.

Your pieces are fired to cone 6, transforming them into durable bisque ware.

Apply glazes, then fire to stoneware temperatures for a finished, food-safe piece.
