Daytime Wheel Course

Can’t make our evening classes? Our daytime wheel courses might be the perfect fit.

From learning the foundations of wheel throwing to developing your technique through more focused wheel time, our daytime courses give you the same opportunity to learn, practise and build confidence with clay — just during the day.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to pottery, or looking for regular wheel time to continue developing your skills, there’s a place for you at the wheel.

Looking for something a little more flexible? Weekday daytime sessions are also available for one-on-one tuition and private bookings, subject to tutor and studio availability.

Come spend your daytime getting muddy, creative and a little more confident at the wheel each week.

Bisque Firing

Glaze & Final Fire

Wedge and center your clay, removing air pockets and preparing it for the wheel.

Shape your form on the wheel, then refine and finish once leather-hard.

Your pieces are fired to cone 6 transforming them into durable bisque ware.

Apply glazes, then fire to stoneware temperatures for a finished, food-safe piece.
